Dragon Tiger

Dragon Tiger is a two-card version of baccarat: one card is dealt to the Dragon, one to the Tiger, and the higher card wins. This page covers the table rules and the live Dragon Tiger API that 7 Unicorn Gaming rents to betting-site operators in India and South Asia.

How Dragon Tiger is played

A player places a bet on either the Dragon or the Tiger. The dealer reveals the two dealt cards and the highest card wins it all. The main rule is that all Aces are deemed low cards, so the ranking runs from Ace at the bottom to King at the top, and suits do not matter for the main bet.

If the two cards have the same value the round is a tie and the house is awarded half of the wagered amount on the Dragon and Tiger bets; the other half goes back to the player. Alongside the main bet there are proposition bets on the individual cards, such as red or black, odd or even and big or small on the Dragon card or the Tiger card.

There are no decisions after the bet is placed, no drawing rules and no player interaction. Players only guess a hand and place their wager there, which is why Dragon Tiger settles faster than any other live table.

What the Dragon Tiger API returns

Every round the API sends your backend a JSON payload with the round id, the betting timer, the Dragon card, the Tiger card, the winning side (Dragon, Tiger or Tie) and the settled odds for the main bet and each proposition bet. The data comes from the same table your players watch on video, so the feed and the picture line up.

  • Live dealer video with an embeddable, low-latency player for web and mobile apps
  • Round data: round id, status (betting open, betting closed, result), countdown timer and both cards
  • Result and settlement feed with tie handling so your wallet pays the right amount automatically
  • Unlimited requests on a fixed monthly rent per table, no per-bet commission
  • Who it is for

Betting sites, white-label casino platforms and exchanges that serve Indian and South Asian players. Dragon Tiger needs no tutorial: players who already know Andar Bahar or Teen Patti pick it up in one round, and the short cycle keeps the table busy through the night.

    How integration works

Sign up on WhatsApp and you receive an API key, a sandbox table and the video embed snippet the same day. Your backend polls the round endpoint or subscribes to the socket feed, accepts bets while the timer is open and settles from the result feed. Reference code for PHP, Node and Java is provided, and our developers stay on the chat until the table is live, usually within a week.

  • Day 1: API key, sandbox table and embed snippet
  • Days 2 to 4: connect your wallet to the round and result feeds and map the proposition bets
  • Days 5 to 7: test settlement on the sandbox, then switch to the production table
  • Frequently asked questions

How does the API report a tie?

The result field carries Tie as the winning side together with both card values. Your settlement logic returns half of each Dragon and Tiger stake, exactly as the table rules state, and pays the tie bet at its listed odds.

Is Dragon Tiger part of the casino API bundle?

Yes. It sits alongside Teen Patti, Andar Bahar, 7 Up Down and Poker in the Indian casino bundle, and it can be rented on its own at the price shown on this page.

Can I run more than one Dragon Tiger table?

Yes. Each extra table is billed at the same monthly rent, and we discount from the second table onwards.

    What is the uptime?

The studio runs 24 hours a day with a backup dealer table, and the API is served from multiple regions. Ask us for the uptime report of the last quarter.
